How Classes Are Structured

In The

(Certificate Program – Pastors Track)

  1. Each class begins with an academic section that includes a video slide presentation that is similar to PowerPoint and has interactive capabilities.

Each video slide can be advanced by the student using the “Next” button. An audio portion is activated automatically and simultaneously with the advancement of each video slide. The student has the option of replaying the audio and/or pausing to re-read any video slide.

  2. Every few pages the student will be asked to complete a fill-in-the-blank questionnaire related to the material just presented. If answers are not known or answered incorrectly, a quick reference back to the specific page that contains the answer will allow the student to retrieve the proper answer.

  3. At the end of each class each student completes a Study Guide that functions as a test composed mostly of multiple choice questions.

  4. After completing the Study Guide the student completes a private (seen only by the student) questionnaire (known as Personal Evaluation and Identification of Problems or PE&ID) in which he evaluates his ministry in relation to the material just taught.

  5. The mandated second phase of each class is the Interactive Discussion Forum which provides a place for students to ask questions and/or share difficult ministry situations.

  6. The Resource section (which is only available for those enrolled in the Certificate program) contains downloadable class notes and study questions as well as additional reference materials and/or videos included in the academic portion of the class. Resource materials are made available to enhance the learning experience and can be used for offline study.

All classes are designed to enhance the student’s ministry, personal life, and relationship with Christ.
